Career Expo
The Specialized Manufacturing Group coordinates the Career Expo. To become a member of the Specialized Manufacturing Group call the Sally Hanley, Business Development Officer at the EDC for Central Illinois Office (309)495-5953.
Specialized Manufacturing Group
The Specialized Manufacturing Group meets on a monthly basis and considers issues currently facing manufacturers in the region. Steve Stewart, Excel Foundry, is the current Chair. Judy Dietrich, Illinois Central College is the current Secretary. Sally Hanley is the liaison with the EDC for Central Illinois.
A wide range of businesses, agencies, and educational systems attend each meeting. Ad hoc committees are assigned to work on emerging opportunities. The group reports progress to the EDC's EDGE Strategic Planning Group.
